No matter where we live, we count on the police to do their jobs efficiently and effectively in order to stem crime and protect citizens. Unfortunately, in hard economic times, police often find they are the first civil servants to have funding cut. However, police find support in caring members of their communities like Mark Cereceda whose contributions keep the police force up-to-date.

Mark Cereceda is honored to show his local police service his support. Every year he supports the Coral Gables Police Ski Team and the West Miami Police Department. The donation Mark Cereceda made to the West Miami Police Department helped them purchase much needed radio equipment. By keeping the police equipment up-to-date, the police are better able to protect Mark Cereceda and other citizens living in West Miami.

Police departments are also proud supporters of many community charities. By supporting police, the police are able to continue their own drives for the community. Mark Cereceda donates every year to the Miami Dade County Commissioner’s toy drive. The toy drive occurs every Christmas. Mark Cereceda has donated to the toy drive every year in order to collect toys for children from disadvantaged homes.

Mark Cereceda is proud to donate to his local police departments. Besides donating to the police, he donates to other charities including charities that support wounded soldiers, children’s charities, and health organizations like the American Lung Association. Mark Cereceda hopes many more citizens will recognize the benefits of supporting their local police departments. The best way for citizens to protect themselves is by supporting those who try to prevent crime.

Mark Cereceda will continue to support his local police department. He supports the police out of gratefulness and duty. If his local department needs help fundraising for new equipment in the future, Mark Cereceda will gladly help with donations again.
